    Decided to lighten this varmint rig up considerably by ditching the Laminate stock and fitting it up in my custom chassis. Thinned the barrel down a bit and carbon sleeved it.
    It has a much better LOP now and SOOO much lighter!
    Fitted a new lightweight M-Lok bipod to a super lightweight 13.5" fore end.
    This is my switch barrel rig and currently runs .17 Mach IV, .22 TCM, .223Rem and 6x45Rem

    Is the carbon sleeve a tube tensioned onto the barrel or a full thickness laminate?

    Its a carbon sleeve tensioned up over the thin barrel to hold it rigid.
