280 Ack now done!!
Well guys and girls ,
A good friend and rifle builder sent me a picture of my 280 Ackley he has now finished:thumbsup:

Its a Sako 75 long action , UKgunworks recoil lug , Border cut barrel - finished at 27 inches , Mcmillan Sako varmint stock , Ase sound moderator.
I plan to run the 162 A-maxs , roll on the end of this month as i am traveling up country with the Mrs to pick the rifle up and hopefully work up a good load for her:)
Shall report when i get back home after trip;)

Whats case capacity. You should piss on 3000 with an ackley and 27 inch barrel

Who are you working the load up for? I thought you'd have one for the cook already.....

As for case capacity , i will be using Nosler custom 280 Ack brass!!
Untill i get the rifle and start load development this is just a guestimation , around 60 grains of Reloader 22!!
But we shall see by the end of the month:)
