    I would love to get my hands on an old 16" naval gun barrel (or the whole gun maybe...)

    Cool we can just call you 400mm

    100% if you have neighbors at the moment, once the ironworks starts and then the heavy artillery... well they will soon leave.

    I have only ever heard 105mm rounds going by which sound awesome, apparently the big ones sound like a train.

    USS Missouri i think when they trolled her out for the first gulf war. The ammunition was getting old and what better use for it. There are quite a lot of utube clips of her going bang like that. Awesome.

    They had some of these in Hitlers atlantic wall defences. same size as the guns in the USS Missouri-16" (406mm) as well as 380mm jobbies and lots of smaller big ones
    Fired approximately 2200 shell at Dover from near Calais

    When you build your press, i have the perfect lubricant to use for it, politicians, the slimiest greasiest bastards going round. Just grab a new one and throw it in when needed, plenty of the bastards around.
