About LinkBacksat 3800fps its not surprising they shed petals.... do the maths on the R.P.M.s of them suckers...its a wonder ANYTHING holds together at all,seem to recall they had issues along those lines with the swift in early days and some wild cat .17s that really defied logic back in the day...solid copper was the only thing that could withstand the R.P.M.s enough to make it to the target.... sure sounds like you have got it sussed out.
