Thread: Alpine spas?

I have a bit of spare room o the deck, the boss is rumbling about a spa and it isnt a silly idea since my shoulders are to wide to fit in the bath. The idea of a soak in a bath with jets pounding sore muscles after a day on the hills does appeal. Have discovered alpine spas who are a bit cheaper than other brands. Anyone dealt with them or gone down this road before?

Will gain big brownie points if I do get one!!

Mate made an outdoor fire/bbq area at his house in Wanaka, he plumbed a wet back from the fire to a spa he made out of concrete. Those plastic things you buy are insanely priced for what they are. They do look good in Auckland houses though I bet

Iv been in one that was powered by a water heater inside a pizza oven if you wanted to keep feuling costs down and score extra brownie points with pizza

no spa blower in it but you can buy them as a stand alone item as i use them to mix my fertiliser tank

Have a wodfire inside with wetback to hot water cylinder inside, pizza oven is on the other deck with fire pit. If I get one think I will invest in a seperate nit, not the best handyman and in a high fire risk area not too keen on a do it yourself job

223nut I have an Alpine spa and it is the shizz. Fan fucking tastic is what it is. As you can see in the picture, I went the whole hog and got their gazebo as well. I do have to say that the gazebo is an absolute arsehole of a thing to assemble but the whole shebang is well worth the effort.

@Rushy not guna need the gazebo as its under the eaves of the house. Think you might have just made me pull the trigger on it. So whos off looking for chamoi in North Canterbury later next week to cash in on my brownie points?

Yep if your not that confident in your DIY skills then get a tradesman in to do the jod.
I earn 20% of my wage by running around fixing DIY screw ups and some of them have been monumental just started a job yesterday where they had thrown there suit cases onto the vent pipe for the hot water cylinder really lucky they did not blow there bloody house up....but do try and get a tradesman with a good rep and crew as 35% of my earnings is running around fixing poor installations
Rush that dose look like a good idea but I'd add some spouting to that roof! No use going for a good nice long soak steam and coming out only to get back to square one with a big drip of cold water down your neck I'd not be sitting on those stills and whatching you soak either
But you do have a nice view there

Sideshow the stools are for me to sit on and have a casual beer and chat when there is a bevy of beauties slowly getting pissed on a glass of wine in the spa. For some reason I just feel compelled to be a sociable host.

The present is a nice big bib so you don't droll in the tub when you have that bevy of beauties around

Thanks a million. There is just something to be said about boobs and bubbles that make me quite attentive.

Wont be much of a bevy in mine, will just be getting a 2 person one as the decks a bit narrow and really Rushy how often have you had a bevy of beuties vrs just one or two?

Yeh you are right. Mostly it is the Mrs and I just before bed.
