    Any smart ones out there?

    I started to scrape off the paint off this WW2 gas mask case. I have painted 20 years ago (the bright ideas of a 10 year old) Found it with my brother, we kept all our treasures in it . I have found a stamp inside ebu 43. I guess 43 means 1943 but could not find anything on ebu.
    Also is it worth anything?

    The ebu proof mark is from a company that sub-contracted to Dräger who manufactured the gas masks for the Wehrmacht.
