Had this for awhile. Had some initial work done lightening the action and having the barrel turned down. It shoots great so this Christmas break I decided to give it a walnut stock using a nice piece i've had lying around.
I've never liked the amount of drop in the comb, so I raised it up a bit and used a Tikka T3 for the stock shape, with a fuller curved grip in a Bavarian style with a palm swell. I'm working on the forestock now. Its been interesting inletting around this action compared to a bolt action. A bit hard to get your head around at times.
The takedown lever assembly will determine the depth of the forestock, but i'll be keeping the top of the stock level with the centre of the barrel unlike the factory original which droops like a wet lettuce leaf.
Will post a couple more pics when its done.
