Nice work KC. I am a big fan of Danish oil myself. I reckon it is much tougher than Linseed etc.

That came up nice. I too love danish oil. Tung oil and teak oil go ok too but think danish is the best

Very sharp! It's cool seeing such a high standard of workmanship when the easy road is so often taken.

mate-as a coaster i love bloody rimu. your work in two wordsF...n brilliant.
that as a bar in a mancave -whoa.0yrs ago my mates &i took over a dingy flat in CHCH.we decided to redecorate,so sorted it out with landlord over a couple of beers.upshot was we installed a bar with the top being mates old mans single rimu slab like yours.
it was a bloody hit with all ,him included.
only trouble is when its dry its such a hard bitch to work.
put french doors in our home here years ago (xstate -rimuframing-earthquakes what earthquake)took two ruined skilsaw blades to cut through a 6"x2"bearer.

    Very nice job.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
