Question Bsa sportsman 5 firing pin

Hiya everyone. I've inherited a bsa sportsman 5 that's unfortunately missing it's firing pin. Would anyone in the Auckland region have one I could replicate or could anyone get me some measurements from it? It's a pretty special rifle so I'd love to get it back to firing condition.

Almost there. Just need to give a top view details. Will convert measurements to metric as well.
Couldn't send you a PM. You're obviously persona non grata still?

Would a whole bolt be useful?

I made a few a while back and have some spare, $35 plus postage if ya want one. I have dealers license so can ship to a dealer near you without the need for Police mail order form.....PM me if interested.

    Cheers

@zimmer Yes unfortunately, fairly new member. Thanks so much for putting in the time and doing that for me. What did you use to make the drawing?

@6x47 is it just the bolt itself or is it bolt with firing pin. If so, I could definitely be interested as I'm not 100% sure what condition my bolt is in as I have nothing to compare it too.

@Fssprecision I could definitely be interested. I'm keen to give making my own a go first. That and I don't have access to PM services yet as I'm relatively new but I've sent you a friend request and I may hit you up of that idea goes toes up.

Good for you, I always encourage people trying to make something. Couple of tips, you need to choose a good grade of steel (I use gauge plate), and also need to harden and temper the rear area that gets struck. Cheers

    hi fssprecision,
would you have a firing pin for a harington & richards?I gave my grandson my old 22 but it has started to misfire on occasion and on inspection the firingpin is worn away where it strikes the cartridge rim.
    cheers

Yeah, that could definitely be useful. What would you want for it?
