Building a new rifle, almost from scratch

    Hey team,

This will be a bit of time in the making, but I'll keep it updated as things progress

Currently making the stock, our kitchen makers have kindly sponsored me a large hunk of purpleheart, white oak, and some yellow wood they make power pole spars from????

Rifle will be used on NZDA 4P and maybe sporting rifle(if i can hold it up)

Rifle will be made from a "trimay" action, triggertech trigger, trueflight barrel (22" straight taper) and chambered by a member here (feel free to pedal your wares if you come across this), an old lad down the road is helping with brass trigger guard etc, and of course I'm making the stock.

First person to guess what it's chambered in gets a beer, I lion red beer at that.

    Thanks Lars

Definitely not any kind of creedmore. I'll take plenty of picks when I get it in my hands, went and met with Ian, top fella, also just up the road, even had a bedding block for me to work with.
