    Converting SKS Promag from 5 to 7 Rounds

    If you’re looking at changing your 5 round mag to 7 rounds here is some simple instructions… with pictures 

    First take your mag apart
    Name:  SKS Tapco 1.jpg
Views: 1469
Size:  123.6 KB

    This is what the Follower should look like
    Name:  SKS Follower.JPG
Views: 1069
Size:  32.1 KB

    Then from here you need to cut off a small part of the follower using a small saw as shown on the picture below
    Name:  SKS Tapco 2.jpg
Views: 1152
Size:  119.9 KB

    Now just put your magazine back together

    Just make sure you can't get the 8th round in

    Also don't leave ammo in the Magazine when not in use. more pressure on the spring with the 2 extra rounds in. Only load when your ready to go hunting

    These appear to actually be made as 10 round mags anyway, just with a five round follower inserted.
