It's a trueflight ultra match in 303 apparently. Will get Robbie to slug it when he fits but my rangi slug suggests it is what it was supposed to be. 308 would be nice but 311 works too

So the receiver is a genuine T? or a "copy"

    ?

If you are doing this to a real T I might cry...

    Enfield No4 T build

No - its a replica/copy in all forms but correct mounts, scope etc
If I had a real T I'd bolt the scope on and it would be done

I have a box of other random bits that I cant be arsed finding and laying out , just waiting for receiver to arrive then can ship it off to Gunworks

Ah right, if its a tight barrel 308s might shoot very well in it anyway. Im hoping to get a 4T stock which is/was a 308w.

    regards

Im getting there too , scope would be nice , one just went on ebay (UK) for about 3 grand. Aparently the mount is real and Im hoping the pads have been properly fitted as the receiver has been machined behind the front pad .I have sorted the bedding ( cheers Roger ) and it shoots real good .... well I can consistently dust bricks ( end on ... 3 x4 " ) at 100 yards with a loopy 3-9x40 .
I read a review on the replica scopes ( some guy in pomgolia ) and he seemed to think they were ok..........getting one here is the problem.

I'm pretty happy with the replica scope. It's nice and clear and the turrets feel good.
The plan is to get the barrel etc setup and bedded and shoot it to check POI then fit the scope and pads to the natural POI and then send it out for reparking.
My butt is an S so have the check how its length is when fitted up or might have to search for a new set of timber.

Mine is , as you can see , a beach wood affair and when I wanted to fit a scope the rear hand guard fouled the scope so I bought a new guard off ebay UK and its a much darker wood , looks much nicer so Im going to get a whole new wood kit ( about nz$180 + freight ) and give it a real good oil up and polish................ problem is I have just gone to all the fuss of bedding this lot of wood , no epoxy .... all paper / card shims . Have you seen Roger Wadham's book on accurising the 303 ? ..... a good read
