Thread: Engraving

I wasn't going to show these but might as well. I saw the engraver at school so I picked it up wrote my name once looked like shit then I started drawing and came up with these

My first attempt


My second attempt, kinda got ruined the teacher reckoned it's look better polished but it ended up filling the holes up with black crap and rubbing out the shallow engraving marks.

Yep, gives a almost transparent ghostly look with the reflection at twice the distance.

the son on that show is a pretty good basic engraver, I cant remember how he does it but I think he draws it on paper then sticks it on?
