    @HG Man I have all the gear to do it, yes i know i should be drying them but job needs doing Even if i have to make a temporary base. Dry some timber for bases so i can laminate later.
    I know post will have a bit off moister but they are not like a dripping wet piece of pine.

    Been there. Split them with an axe, that'll give you reasonable straight bits work with, scrape off the big bits of dirt, join together, cut to shape. You shouldnt need to worry about the outside too much unless you were planning on putting some sort of live edge in there?
