Folder knife sheath I made today

This is the first sheath I have made in 10 years and only the second folder sheath ever .
I put this together quickly to work out a few design issues and to work out a few bugs . I plan on spending some time over Christmas making a few sheaths and will have time to get it perfect .
I made a lot of mistakes on this , but I'm still very happy with the overall design , it shows some promise.

Toby go to a hobby shop. They will set you up and then you will be hooked.

Thanks guys for the compliments .
I plan on making a few more on this design , and will continue to incorporate a couple of its features into all of my sheaths from now on ( rolled edge and angled opening ) as kind of a signature of my sheaths .
I need to get a couple of different Folders to try different shapes etc .

Mate ,
Leatherwork is about the easiest hobby to get into that there is .
All you need is some leather , a needle ( easier if you have two ) , some contact glue and some thread , and a few other simple tools that every man will have around the house.
Years ago ( I'm showing my age ) I used to go to all the charity shops and buy all the old leather handbags and belts etc . I'd cut them up and make knife sheaths for my mates and me . In those days all we used were skinning knives that we ground down to our personal preferences .
You could buy a sheath from Dalgety's or Wrigthsons , but they cost heaps :)
If you were real flash you had a " rabbiters steel " in a little holder on the outside of the sheath .
I made the sheath above in one day by fastracking a few of the processes , I'm no genius as my friends will testify , if I can do it so can you .

Superb GC, i usually get them at garage sales and 'make' them fit.....or sew a piece of velcro at the top for security,

i did that for my cheap Bacho $15 knife from Bunnings

Ground Control, that is very cool...wow!!
