Do you guys reckon I should put checkering on it? Around pistol grip and forend? or would it be to much?.
The reason I havn't yet is I don't have checkering tools.

When I was in the Territorial force, Infantry - rifleman, few years ago now. I was the top marksman in the 6 Hauraki Battalion winning the freyberg shooting competition with the steyr weapon in Waiouru in May 1990.
Someday I want to make a dvd on shooting and hunting tips and tricks.

I hope to get some hunting footage of it soon. I've changed scopes on it but still shoots very well, I shot a sub moa at 100 yards, out of 3 rounds 2 were touching.
I have it sighted at 1 1/2 - 2" high at 100 yards, and about 1/4" high at 50 yards.
I've loaded 140 Hornady A-max 45 grain N560 VihtaVuori powder.
I'm looking forward to my first kill with it.
