    How to build

    Hi guys this thread is in response to my last thread "The allrounder that may never be". I'm not sure if building your own rifles is legal here but if so I'd be hell keen to have a crack!.
    What's involved and how do you do it?

    Im pretty sure most people design a rifle that suits their needs in there head,mayby order a reamer and get a reputable gunsmith to build it for them.

    Unless your pretty handy with a lathe/mill

    If you build on a savage action you could do it yourself with a barrel vice, action nut spanner and go/no go gauges. Would need to buy a pre-fit barrel chambered for your desired calibre (338 WSM?) too.
