Thread: Howa Mini barrel re-chamber - possible?

Anyone know if its possible to re-chamber Howa Mini barrels? I might be buying a 6mm ARC barrel, but keen to re-chamber it to 6mm GT (it won't be going back to a Mini action, BTW). But just wondering if its one of those factory brands that don't re-chamber easily, like some Tikka barrels, etc.

What action is the barrel going onto ? whats the thread size

They re chamber fine used a 300blk for a light weight 308 barrel replacement

Howa mini threads are 22mm OD, very few other actions take threads that small. Even the heavy contour barrels dont have a lot of meat to set back the barrel and cut new threads.

I am not aware of the steel being a problem to cut.
