    Magazine spring

    Hi guys
I’m after a new spring for my Savage 223
Does anyone know of an engineering shop that stocks springs like the pic attached, or am I better buying a factory one ?
    Pic attached for reference

He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

How long is the spring and how wide? You might find that something like a mauser m 98 mag spring might fit. A new one is 10 bucks or so from workshop innovations

    Cheers, emailed Julian.
Anyone know if a M96 action ( and obviously mag spring as well ) is shorter than a M98 ?
