    Model 60 Revival

Not much of a project compared to some of the people round here but always liked the Marlin model 60 and managed to score one off @rambo-6mmrem
She was pretty rough to start with, see here for photos http://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co.n...ts-sale-12444/

I'm terrible at taking photos as I'm doing things, tend to just knuckle down and smash things out, but since the bluing was fucked and it didn't have the iron sights the holes were filled with devcon then sanded/filed/scotch brited down. A good healthy does of high temp flat black paint was then applied before being thrown on the Bar-b for a couple hours to cure.

Since the blank that was included wasn't really my kind of colour scheme a Boyds pepper stock was ordered and so was a DIP trigger kit to replace the broken trigger guard. Nice piece of kit, comes with all the mods already done bar the replacement springs and also has a nice wide trigger blade.

All in all think it came out alright. Shoots straight but yet to try with the Boyds stock on.

Hopefully I can aquire a nice ASE Utra 22 suppressor for it off Spanners, fingers crossed it's small enough in profile to still be able to feed rounds through tube without doing the dirty bending.

NUFF jibba jabber heres some photos, in no particular order.

Cure the paint. That high temp stuff needs to be baked for about an hour at 250C to set properly. Was slightly too long to fit in my oven so BBQ next best bet. Worked a treat
