    Modifying a S&B PMII scope

This will make a few of you weep, but I just HAD to do something about the new S&B turret construction...

    Well done

You have been picking up bad habits when you have been over here Thomas

Next you will be importing some #8 wire

    Great modification

When the Dremel came out I thought you were just going to cut some notches in it for traction!

Umm well thats a practical solution, but I did ''wince'' at the sight of the dremel & file taking off the finish around the turret. A lathe may have done a better job - but yeah, I know what its like when you have an idea and just want to get on with it...end of the day its better than it was before.

Nope. The 3-20x have more of the qualities I want than a 5-25. Turrets are easy to fix, lenses are not.
