Spur extension well on there way THANKS Mate
Hi i updated the scope to a 2-7 Leupold and have reloaded a few rounds of different powders and different projectile weights .
the lightest is 60 grain to 87 grain . all shoot rather well and can hit finger sized branches @ 70m .
But i had some 25 ACP factory loads and a 25 cal insert for a 410 chamber .i have found that most 410 chambers are not all the same and vary a lot .
so i have built another Monty in 25 ACP![]()
opps wrong photo the above is a 25 acp with a 80grain pill fitted very very quiet![]()
The Rossy is fitted with a intreg. suppressor
Reloading the 25 ACP is interesting but not that bad .. the hardest part is getting the powder weight just right ,a flake either way makes a large diff. i work to 0.00 on my very god Sartorius E scale .. Have found that the .25 cal x 44 grain solid lead projectile air gun slugs dipped in Alox wizz along rather well and are easy to place on top of the case .But it was fun to load the heavy weight 80 grain as it had a boat tail on top of 1.66 grain WSF powder .Very quiet and a neat hole , distance was only 20m sorry .
will make some more up and report .. Both the 25 ACP and the 25 Long have dispatched sheep [head shots ] but the 25 long with more grunt ' did it with authority '
Bugger its raining heavy outside
buzzed a sizer to adjust the case to take the .257 pill
