Thread: The Silver Bullet

Something a little different.
My winter project has been to strip my trx 300 and galv the frame and everything else that can be galved. Hence the name Silver Bullet.

Cool should last a while Dont spos you weighed it before and after?

Frame was 25kgs.
Shes halfway back together now so can't tell you what it is after.
Should hopefully last a long while, the only thing wrong with them is rust in the frames.....Fixed that prblem

they are great simple bikes, we used them on the orchard for years, the next week point is their back diffs so dont go pulling a heavy trailer round and she should last years and years.

cool idea on the galving

After a marathon effort this weekend shes all back together and running. Only got a few little things to tidy up which is bleed the front brakes and change the oil and filter etc. Looking forward to taking it hunting next weekend

Yep got it sandblasted first, then hot dipped.
