    Stirling M1600 Trigger Assembly

I broke the trigger in my .22 Stirling M1600.

Not surprising really as they are just a die cast part and the rifle has fired a few thousands rounds.

Ordering the parts I needed was no problem as Cameron Sports are the agent for Armscor.

My problem is when I reassembled the trigger group and reinstalled it in the action I could not get the sears to engauge.

Long story short I've run out of ideas.

Heres a couple of pics to illistrate the issue.

Can anyone point out where I'm going wrong or have any suggestions on how I could remedy this.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I'd be gutted to take it to a gunsmith and have them go Oh there's the problem and do the quick fix.

    Cheers
    Pete

Ok I spent a few hours in the shed today nutting this thing out.

In the light of a new day things became clearer.

A little file here and a little file there, the sears begin to engauge again and all is good in the world again.

Looking forward to taking it to the range and burning some powder.
