The Supp Sock
I found a nice way to make a suppressor sock for my DPT 308 can.
I bought a pair of toddler socks and put the suppressor in muzzle first, pulled it over as tight as possible so the fabric stretched over it snug. I could have finished it here at the base but there was a lot more sock left so I cabled tied the barrel end and pulled it forward again, one more cable tie at the muzzle end, then some contact adhesive on the sock at the end. I cut a small hole in the muzzle end. Looks nice in solid black cotton and should keep it from making so much noise on twigs in the bush, and keep it warm too :-P

Cheap simple solution, hope its not a melty plastic type fabric.

It seems to be cotton so won't melt. Also polyester doesn't melt until 250C.
