Toz17 magazine catch pics.

Hi all, as per my thread on ‘doh’ moments I am redirecting a Vostok/Toz17 22. It needed a good going over, it had no rear sight, no magazine and the stock was a grimey mess plus a previous owner had sanded the main part of the barrel with pretty coarse sandpaper/emery cloth.

It’s appearance has been sorted and the action degreased and oiled with BreakFree.

I fitted the rear sight I got from a forum member and (eventually!) got it fitted correctly.

I also got a magazine from another forum member and that’s where the project again stalled.

The magazine catch on the rifle doesn’t seem to actually ‘hook’ onto anything on the magazine.

Can somebody who owns a Toz17 please take a pic looking up the magazine well and another looking from the front of the magazine well looking back towards the trigger guard and post them on this thread?
