What is the max contour barrel for a Std T3 stock?

Hi All,

In the process of building a new 6.5 Creedmore on my leftie Tikka T3 - but wanted to know of anyone's experience in going for a slightly heavier contour barrel - than standard, without having to throw away the old standard stock (to begin with anyway..)

Interested in any insights or links to projects being done similarly.

I ran a #4 Shilen on mine and a quick wizz with the Dremel had a great fit.....until I went CF

Bartlein 2b was too big for my T3 carbon stock. So turned it down just over T3 profile and eased the barrel channel.

22mm diameter at the muzzle, 100mm knox, 27" long. The barrel is a tad heavier than a the normal Varmint barrel.

The rifle was bought with a light/thin Tikka barrel.

I just opened the barrel cannel a little and fitted the wider soft touch grip to the forearm.
