Who amongst you can lighten a kimber bolt handle?

Hopefully the right place to post this, but I've found myself with a couple spare stainless steel Kimber Montana bolt handles and triggerguards.

I would love to lighten them up a bit and have a similarish look tothe the titanium handles /aluminium trigger guards i already have.

I could send them off to a gunsmith, but wondered if one of you guys had the time, skill and equipment to drill out the handle in a similar way to that pictured? No rush on the job. Obviously happy to pay.

Anyone with a drill press could easily hollow out the knob...

Ok I will rephrase that. Any half competent person could easily do the bolt knob hollowing out with a drill press that has a vice type set up on the base plate...

What it sounds like you are saying is that anyone who meets those prerequisites could drill a hole in the bolt knob?

Thanks guys. Sounds like it's in the too expensive basket. Looks like i will have to import the ones I want, as likely cheaper (but perhaps more paperwork).

I'm with you @Micky Duck . Drill out the end of the knob and you've done 80% of the job. Local engineer will do it for a Dozen DB

There's nothing wrong with using a flapper wheel, Dremel, bits of jandal, duct tape and alkathene offcuts for a customized bespoke look I'll have you know

Make a new one with 3D metal printing. How's your parametric drafting skills?
