Thread: WTB: 7mm-08 Factory Ammunition - Hornady, Norma etc.

Hey guys,

I have purchased a new rifle in 7mm08 that I am yet to fire a round through.

I am hoping to get hold of various factory ammunition to feed her, and see what she likes most.
Hornady Whitetail 139gr, Hornady Superformance SST / GMX 139gr, Hornady ELD-X 150gr, Norma Nosler 140gr, Federal / Fusion 140-150gr etc.

Is there anyone in the wider Hamilton / Waikato region that maybe able to help me out here? Happy to pay for whats on offer.

Figured I would try here, before spending a fortune on different 20packs of Factory.

@kiwi-adam am a bit to far away but i recommend the hornady sst. pays to shop around but have found farmlands to be the cheapest here in gisborne. Not the cheapest of ammo but worth the money, also not much crap left in the barrel or suppressor

@bigbear been very keen to try the SST, seen that these are advertised for $64 from Gunworks (Chch), but $69-75 up this end of the country. I am thinking almost any rifle will like the SST.

About $58 a box at farmlands last lot. I was using gmx for a bit when the sst weren't available, pretty much the same results but they were a lot more expensive so soon as i run out i went back to the sst

Every chance your rifle will be different but my Tikka 7mm08 was a laser beam with Hornady Precision Hunter 150 ELDX
