About LinkBacksThe baikals follow the same russian tradidition of "if it aint broke dont change it", no wait its "No dont change it. ".. It is exactly the same action that houses 308, 7.62x54R and 30/06 to name a few. So a 223 or 556 should be fine. Keep and eye on the cases but from what I understand the main difference is in the throat and neck of the chambers.
