It is always tragic when this happens. Hope he comes right.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

It's tragic for the guy that got shot, but I have no sympathy for the guy that pulled the trigger. What a pillock.

How does this even happen? "Geoff, jump off the truck here in the dark and we'll take it up ahead"... 50 meters up the track they turn round and shine the spotlight behind them "Look a deer with a rifle wearing camo... get 'em" *BAM* "Where's Goeff?"

    Seriously...

There are times when you can't beat the stupidity out of people. Esp those who pull the trigger.

I don't think it actually states in the article that the person shot was unidentified and shot 'intentionally' in hope he was a game animal?

For all we know - it could have been a genuine accident, as they do happen from time to time.... many of which could have been prevented (maybe even this one).

We have no idea what happened and probably never will.

If people simply followed the 7 BASIC rules of handling firearms, there would be NO genuine "accidents".

Proves yet again that the most accidents are with members of the same hunting party.
