Enjoyed a visit from the police today at my fav shooting spot!

Cutting a long story short - A group of hen pheasants tripped off my good friends house alarm, causing a chain of events which ended up is us being visited by two very polite officers. All was good - no harm done but annoyingly I couldn't get hold of the owner to fill them in. An over zealous neighbour even called my workplace and fired up the receptionist! Joy. They ended up finding it all quite funny.

Any day with no mace in your eyes is a good day I reckon.

Those pheasants are going to be turned into m'c nuggets at some point. Little burglers:D

Bloody pheasants are everywhere at the moment.

I've never seen so many. The rooster would be a happy boy - he has half a dozen fat mummas running around all fighting for His attention.

I have at least five cock pheasants within 50 metres of my house.

Not as long as my missus breathes VC. They are apparently to pretty to shoot? Not sure where that comes from as if one came home from off the farm there wouldn't be a drama. Go figure! Women!

Wait till they've crapped over the washing, shit on the garden path is walked inside by the kids, and they've munched their way through the missus's herb n veggie garden. She'll be the one reaching for the shottie . . . . .
