Question FA storage arrangements when FAL holder absent from property...

I've been looking for this information...and can't bloody find it.....man eyes no doubt
My question to the wisdom is.
If you're absent from your property overnight or for say 2-3 weeks....are you required to store your guns in another FAL holders safe or just leave them under lock and key at home?
I'm the only FAL holder, so......

Just got veted 2 days ago,you can be absent up to 30days at most.Or you gota register them in your good mates name with registry with his
address of coarse.Until you come back from your 35 day overseas holiday or what ever other reason for being absent from yr address and do the reverse when you get back.Actually there's nothing to stop you coming home on the 28-29th day, stay one night and leaving again, just record yr visit and stay.If that's practical.
DONT LEAVE THE KEY AT HOME.

Cheers, good to know, I have the least keys possible as even my day to day keys put themselves faaaaaaaaaaar away from where I think I put them!
Hence gun safe is double combination lock

Apart from the obvious of not "leaving the keys at home", the above statement begs the question - "show me the rules".
It's all well and good that some vettor opined that you have to do something if/when you are going to be absent for 30 or more days, but why would you have to transfer to another "keeper"?. Presumably your storage has been deemed to be compliant - if so, and you are the only person, other than the vettor, who knows of your security and its contents, what is the problem? Is this a case of the vettor telling you something that is his interpretation/opinion, or is it legislated. "Show me the rules"!.

Indeed, what is the legislative device used to provide for the term 'you can be absent up to 30 days'?

Don't forget, we're not supposed to keep the gun and ammo safe keys together. I only learnt about that recently. It is written in the FSA guide, whether it's legislation or not I don't know. As to what we're supposed to do withe the ammo safe key, I still haven't received a satisfactory answer. I asked the FSA guy at renewal and he just said keep it separate and hidden.

    I used one of these
    Key Safe
Securely Screwed to a stud near the Ammo safe, not hidden at all. The Ammo safe key is in it and it was satisfactory for the vetting person.

You might be able to rip it off the wall eventually but from personal experience, you wont get in it easily without a lot of effort and tools. If you have tools then why bother even trying just use the angle grinder on the safe.
After all the key is under lock (combination). Saves fannying about retrieving a hidden key from somewhere else thats not where you have your other keys etc etc.

Same, the vettor had no problem with them, different combination on each one and 4 tek screws each.

I am absolutely not doubting what you were told - HOWEVER - not in legislation or regulations that I can find - I am finding to many people in officialdom like to "quote" the law that only exists in their minds.

IF this was the case - it would be totally impracticable for many - overseas couple of times a year, month at a time - think of some FIFO workers - Anyways no FAL I know would want to uplift my toys.

Your security is either compliant, or it is not.

Fair to say - my security is many steps up on the requirements.

There is nothing in the Arms act to say if you are away from your Residence that you are obliged to do anything more than keep your firearms under lock and key.
Giving/lending/storing them at another place for 30 days + , just kicks in the registery obligation .

Some new rules have just come in, best I can tell you.

And right there is the downfall of said FSA. What "New Rules", When did "New Rules" take effect ??? more likely the whim of the Vetter at a guess and here we go again.
