Am I not allowed an opinion? Am I not allowed to question someones position in a respectful manner?
Is your only answer to hurl personal insults?
He may be a gunsmith of high standing and has forgotten far more than I know as well, this does not make him a Judge or an arbiter of the law. It makes him a very good gunsmith.
You have obviously misinterpreted what I have been saying.
Your attitude here is the inflammatory one.
What planet are you from??? Laws tell you what you can't do...they tell you what is correct/ expected but via the..any more or less than this is bad. Look at where law came from originally. The wording goes..thou shan't desire the ox or ass..... Not you may lust after Mary Jane.

I don't get it...... I guess you are suggesting that my assertion that laws can tell you what to do is wrong? I was never saying they don't tell you what you can't do, I was answering a specific post and the way it was written.
I don't know who Sidney is, is that what you are on about?
Sorry your post was somewhat garbled and contradictory and I don't really understand what you are trying to say.
'Laws tell you what you can't do' - yeah I agree.
'they tell you what is /correct/expected but via the.... - via the what?
'any more or less than this is bad' - any more or less than what?
Although the 10 Commandments may have been a founding for our laws they are not indicative of how they are written now. I don't see the relevance of this. Please, by all means correct me.
What planet am I from? Well, one that can hold an adult conversation without being drawn into an internet forum popularity contest that involves unnecessary vitriol towards someone who has an alternative view. Some of you seem to be insinuating things on my behalf, I have no idea why. At any rate, it seems that personal insults and ostracization for challenging a narrative are common place here which is indicative of an echo chamber. Some people have been more than reasonable.
