If parliamentarians & lobby groups are so concerned with deaths they should look at vehicle ownership & driver licensing.

1) How many vehicles does the private person need?
2) If the maximum speed limit is 110 kmh shouldn't all road legal cars be restricted to 115 kmh (to allow for speedo error)?
3) Should the maximum horsepower of road legal cars be restricted? After all isn't going fast dangerous?
4) Shouldn't you need to be a "fit & proper" person to hold a driver's license.
5) Shouldn't driver's license be for an initial 5 years before renewal for a subsequent 10 year period? None of this lifetime licensing.

260 or so people killed on our roads in 2025, no reaction from most politicians and lobbyists.
Someone shot then there's hell to be paid.
