In my humble opinion I think anyone that could make the decision to shoot at eyeshine only, has zero experience and most likely lacks the strict supervision that a lot of us received when we were fostered into hunting. Something that maybe could be addressed during the licencing process.Quote:

I have been hunting deer for almost 40 years. I have never seen a deer stand stock still or at least blink or look away whether under a light or not, for any longer than a few seconds.

There is some stupidity here by someone named "Williams":

Shot through the radiator... bullet in just by the maker's badge (read: dead centre of the front intake) of a ute with two headlights and a reflective registration plate. Clean car killshot. A deer's eye reflection from the badge??? Williams has clearly read the tragic story of the poor teacher killed by someone acting very badly just a few years ago... but this just looks different. There was clearly malice aforethought, making this a very criminal act - except of course to the Williamses among us..
