Well they're doing it wrong, inappropriate covers a broad range. Objectional actually covers a very narrow range. I used to sell systems for blocking this content (among other things) for a living.

It's interesting police can't keep a lid on things, objectional material is pretty significant given it could lead to a prosecution. Or if it's not objectionable stuff the rumours could really ruin the guy.

He hasn't been charged so unlikely to be CSAM at this stage. NZ has some weirdly archaic laws on porn that rarely get used so good chance it's consensual stuff that's just on the more weird/gross scale.

Not endorsing the guy. Sounds like a right muppet but just giving a bit more context into what "Objectional" means.

Unless it's in VERY COMMON usage, why do people insist on the use of acronyms - What is CSAM?

Doesn't matter that NZ has some "weirdly archaic laws on porn", what the f^k was the guy thinking to have "objectionable material" ON HIS WORK COMPUTER? Or any computer, for that matter; even his own personal device.
And this is the guy who aspired to be Commissioner. Yeh, right.

It certainly seems that there's trouble within the "blue gang" empire, but I'm not sure that the story in this link is related to the "demise" of the muppet who aspired to the Commissioner.

Instead of wasting yet more of the long suffering taxpayer's money on some silly little internal review, perhaps they could spend some time making transfers actually work?
Another half hour of my life wasted on hold trying to accept a transfer. It's been almost a year since they launched their piece of shit lacking this key functionality.

I thought CSAM was pretty common. Stands for Child Sex Abuse Material.

these days a bit easier to catch - castration would be a fitting punishment - we to soft - me old mate used to say Barry the rope and the lash still has a lot going for it - but we dont know yet what he had on computer and we may never know - bit of a worry though what he could reinvent himself as - security maybe but what firm would want him -
