These days see anyone doing anything that's perceived to have an unacceptable risk (which is wholly a subjective assessment) and watch the risk averse sheeple start foaming at the mouth about how irresponsible that person is and what about your family and the most common refrain of "why should my taxes pay to take care of idiots like these?" and the short answer is "That's how the system was designed to operate, a safety net for those who needed it, irrespective of the "why" and in the same breath that very system denies cover to those of us who are self employed (despite our higher ACC levies) that get injured at work but happily covers Dave who bust his ankle playing touch in his mates backyard after one too many beersies.

That gun is legal...and looks like a hilarious addition to many gun safes, if you don't like it, that's fine, jog on. Don't use your dislike to curtail what others may enjoy, that attitude is part of the slippery slope we are already part way down of having more and more of our freedom's trimmed back......phew, rant over, as you were!

You're probably right but this doesn't change the way it looks in their video. Less reasonable minds would have a field day twisting this due to a certain Australian employing one of these...

A shotgun exactly like that, but made by/called Escort.
They were $400. I told the shop owner to order one for me "just because".
The shop owner and I were of the opinion we might as well have fun while we can.
Anyway, the shop owner notified me that they had disappeared off the availability list.
And look where they turned up and for how much.
Here, sold out, also magnum imports by late 2025, $500. That's a more reasonable price.

Suffice to say,Scientists have yet to invent a microscope powerful enough to detect the solitary sub-atomic fuck particle that may not even exist in order for me to even give with regards to this shotgun.

Stop worrying about what other people think, enjoy what is legal, enjoy it responsibly.

There is no valid reason to own a pistol in New Zealand either apart from enjoyment. Start giving an inch, loose a mile.

I dont know what the big deal is personally, while its not my type of gun, i can see its a good design from a practical standpoint, especially for possum control.

Funny how the live and let live attitude in this thread disappears when someone posts an Alpha Carbine...

Goes to show you that some people are stuck in their own time loop and cling on in the hope that everyone else should follow their POV.

The Ranger and Escort bullpups are VERY similar but markedly different, particularly the ranger ejects behind the grip whilst the escort ejects on the right.Looking at the specs the ranger seems to be the better gun but yeah fixed choke on both is a bit ho hum.
