@Happy Jack that's an interesting one....Two scenarios spring to mind;
FIRST: You only own the bare essentials, 22, 30 cal and a shotgun, and you are taking all three. Seems
Simple....
SECOND: Perhaps you own ten firearms, but are only taking one away with you. Can you legally leave the other nine at home? Admittedly locked up but still in an unattended house. An you do that or do you need to make alternative arrangements.
I just thought of a third scenario; perhaps you AirBnB your house for the four months you are away. Your guest doesn't have a Firearms Licence, but is effectively I possession of your guns. Is that legal.
It will be interesting to see what they say......watching with interest....
I will take 2 as usual but will probably farm the others out to my nephew. Yes it does raise quite a few questions.
