They are under funded, under resourced and being told to reduce operational costs, which means reducing services, so against that landscape I consider 90 minutes acceptable. I think we all need to get used to this time warp as being the new normal. And it was not a waste of my time because I organised myself to have something to do whilst waiting. It's about you getting organised before you call and getting your mindset right that this will take a minimum of one hour, which is totally acceptable for any Government Department.
Nah I call bollocks to that! By and large government departments are significantly over staffed with many inefficiencies within their operational processes. They need to be cut back and streamlined but I don’t think the middle and upper management within the organisations have the skills or the motivation to do it as they are happily sucking on the tax payer tit. They should be held accountable just as they would if they were in the private sector.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
