Dose a concrete mixer count:XD: got some votes for a guy once.....where is Tim these days;)
Yep I thought long and hard and in the end figured you made it up as I was "perfect" last week, as I will be this week!
What was he doing with the thing in there anyway, I thought you go into a public toilet to play with a different type of 'piss tool'? :D
Well mate.....I carry an H&K 40 cal as part of my "duties"....... never left it anywhere(yet),but with the job of it,the responsibility becomes even greater,.......totally unprofessional and should carry repocussions...
Not too long ago was almost home when I realised I had forgotten to pick our daughter up from daycare which was 15min away and not long before closing time
3 months later told the wife about it just to clear my conscience
this quote should be saved and put away somewhere very safe for all the firearms lawyers out there to reference in future defence hearings.
fight the law with their own damn law.
NWA
Yep now with a Night Force Scope! It performed perfectly today @sneeze
sigh. Police favoritism at it's worst.
That cop should have had to front up in court. END OF STORY.
I had to while this was going on with this cop, and mine didn't involve a handgun, it also took a lot of explaining and a fucking good barrister. So blue gang have shown yet again how fucking corrupt they are, was this even put in front of a prosecutor??? If not why not???
If two people do the same thing, one goes to court one doesn't what does that tell the world?
That would be the same as you and a cop speeding along a highway. You get done they don't. And before you say it...you know what I am saying.
In fact his situation was a hell of a lot worse than mine in several ways.
#BlueGang
Well why don't you tell us what you did so we can decide for ourselves?
Stopped for a feed, didn't realize gun was still on bike (dark) got busted. At no point was I any further that 10-12 metres away. Lets just say there are new systems in place.
So it seems we have two different rules. Us then blue gang, but theirs aren't anywhere near as stringent even when they fuck up more.
Hey smartarse. Pull your fucking head in, notice the title of the thread. But then you obviously are mister fucking prefect.
Where were you "stopped for a feed"? Was it a place that sold alcohol?
Did you not realise the gun was on the bike while you were in the pub?
So let me get this straight systolic..... you've walked in my shoes and know my job.
How could you possibly leave a huge thing like a dumpy behind in board daylight in the middle of a jobsite? And the fucking thing will be bright yellow or orange, worth hundreds or thousands? And you are giving me shit about not noticing a black shotgun in the dark.
Here's another thing that might shock you systolic, how many people have misplaced firearms. I've seen two shotguns left on the road after they have fallen off vehicles (not me) there is a very long list when it comes to this, whether people will admit to it here, well that's a NO. And far enough, but I'm admitting to my fuckup. I did my day in court, this cop however that did worse than me got jack shit. Keep your eye on the bouncing ball.
Wasn't in a pub but a cafe.
Are you fucking blind? Or struggle like fuck with the reading and comprehension?
My dad is the most straight up and down, do it once do it right, by the book, conscientious person I know, and he is like that with everything not just firearms, he preaches safety to all, and shoots for a living also, some on here probably know him through his involvement in pistol shooting and cowboy action. He managed to lock up the range a while back after everyone had left, pack his rangebag and gear away carefully in his truck, then proceed to drive home.
He had to stop at Waikouiti for fuel on the way home, hopped out of his truck, went to begin refuelling, and realised he was still wearing his holster, pistol and all! He reckoned he was horrified that he had made such a mistake without even thinking (I thought it was funny because I know how it would have horrified him... "Mr perfect" f**ked up!)
But it goes to show, that genuine mistakes can and do happen, we are, after all, only human.
I know of a farm manager and his son that went out for a hunt got a deer then went home happy as.
a few months later the tractor driver called into the managers house asking if he new anybody that had lost their rifle.
he reckons that's he's got one just like it so go asks where it was found and the penny dropped when told!
that fuck up was worth a few beers

And now systolic edits after he fucks up. Your a dick, don't want to own your mistake?
Wouldn't be 600
How much alcohol had you drunk?
Not long ago I took the wife and kids up to the club for a wee shoot.
Takes me 6 mins to and from the club. Was a weekday and no one else was there or had been there going by the range book.
Had a good time, cleaned up when finished and loaded everyone in the lux and headed home.
Grabbed my range bag and went straight to the safe to put away my short guns. One was missing? Panic set in and I threw my range bag back in the truck and broke some records getting back to the range. No gun there.
My guts churned but I went thru my range bag again and for some reason found I had put the gun in a different pouch on the bag that I have never used to store a gun before. 😆
