I find the reviews from here usually pretty good - but chances are you’ve already googled it and read it, but just in case.

One of the guys I shoot with has one, Very nice looking gun. Typical beretta quality, I tried it would have done better with a 4x2 with water pipe glued too it. For some reason I cant shoot anything Beretta very well including my 20ga. Now Browning or Miroku on the other hand I can just pick up and shoot quite well.

Yeah I know what you mean @mikee - really keen to try first. I had a Beretta SV10 and was terrible (an unfair comparison to a 694). Got handed a Browning something and shot a possible (25/25) first go.

I just like Beretta more and I'm hoping the 694 suits me.

Yeah, bit trickier than an off the shelf rifle.

After a false start with another shotgun (sale fell through) I picked up a 694 last weekend and shot it on Sunday. Over the moon with it, feels like quality in the hands as it should at $7k. I took it to a shoot on skeet and compact on Sunday - which I'd only shot once before. 23/25 and 22/25 respectively...first time firing the new gun and first time back at a club as an NZTCA member since 2008. Really like the stock balancing features (stock weights) but kinda gutted the barrel weights aren't included and are bloody expensive.

I shot DTL as well but didn't go so well...have adjusted the comb to show more rib and a figure 8 with mid and front bead and will pattern to see where it is shooting.

Shout out to Chloe from Gun City who gifted me her of pair of Beretta socks to look after the gun in the case.
