    Beretta differences

    There is a 686 Silver Pidgeon 1 at $2995 and a Beretta Black 690 at $4995.
What makes the 690 action worth 2K more than the 696 action?

I had an SV10 Prevail and while a beautiful gun it just didn't fit me well and felt slow and heavy. Looked at a 682 Gold E and really liked that but didn't go that way. The 686 felt not as good in my hands as the 690s and 692s I picked up. In the end I went with the 694 as seemed to fit me well and address issues/improvements over the 690/692 series.
