I’m looking at buying an older ERA Gameking and noticed this gap on the right side between the extractor and the barrel. Question is: is this safe to fire or not? If not, is it fixable? Cheers

If its the only part thays got a fap I would say would be fine. One of my sxs has bigger gaps bpth sides. Of worried fire left barrel first. Or get it checked . Maybe its slightly bent
Thanks, I’m new to shotguns so learning a few things
The Right hand barrel usually gets the most use especially if your a "one shot is all you need kind of guy"so that may be normal. One of my sxs with ejectors has a weak rh the case barely clears the action the other goes wizzing past your ear
Completely safe to fire in my opinion, strongest part of the case rests there.
Shotguns work at 10,000 psi not 60,000 psi like rifles
It's good as gold
I had an ERA by Boito many years ago and mine looked like that from new.
I would just shoot it and enjoy it.
