I'm thinking about a Franchi 12g for field use. I tried an ATA 686, a Rissini Hombra, a Beretta Silver Pidgeon and the Franchi Pheonix. The Franchi fitted the best. Anyone had any serious problems with this make of gun?

I've got an old Franchi sitting in the safe here. It was MY first shotgun, so will keep it for an age.
It performed awesome apart from when I put it together wrong at school after trap shooting.
With a fixed choke it was hell of a tight, so no good for steel.
I believe the new Franchi's are made in the Beneili factory?..
