full recon and a minor repair/replacement and she is now too flash to take hunting, not bad for a gun nearly 30 years old.

a double barrel is around $2-250 to get blued, depending on how rough the condition, a stock about $170, that's assuming you can pull you gun to bits and put it back together. both of these jobs you could do yourself, there are plenty of help on utube, but probably don't expect to be as good as the professionals first time up. start with the stock, follow the instructions there are no shortcuts.you improve with every project and it is engrossing, relaxing and concentrates the mind.
