    Mugica eibar sxs 12g

Anyone know the rough value of one of those?
Has ejectors, no pitting, good condition. Bores are good. 28 inch barrels.

They look like extractors not ejectors as they throw the empty clear of the gun, my guess is around $200 tops.

Lol. They're ejectors, I've used the gun for several years and they throw the shell clear of the barrel. Not worth selling it for that price. Thanks.

yip 250-300 I had one and used it with steel after boring out chokes at home with methods not mentionable....ok alright, chainsaw file in drill, then sandpaper on tyre iron......I fitted a Morgan adjustable recoil pad onto it and shot VERY VERY well with it....only sold it to buy a pump as the early steel ammunition was crap and many finishing rounds were used to kill wounded bird on water..... in hindsight I should have kept it as the increased velocity steel solved the issues.

With actual ejectors it would add some dollars but people today mostly cant multitask and struggle with twin triggers. The steel compatibility issue is another thing.
If you get into cowboy action surgery to give an 18 inch barrel will give you a dandy coach gun at infinitesimal cost.

Yeah it's pretty cool with the ejectors, maybe I'll just turn it into a coach gun. Shot so many hares and plovers with it!

OK I'll track some down. I'm happy just running lead thru it so won't tamper with the barrels
Unless I get an offer I can't refuse haha

A good mate has one of those (with extractors only) I have seen him pull off some nice long shots on possums and hares. We patterned it with hunting ammo and indeed it is tightly choked, makes for a great pest control gun as Micky Duck suggests.
If it were mine I'd be reluctant to chop it, as it's much nicer than the average Spanish el cheapo SxS.

Yeah it's actually a lovely gun to use. Maybe I'll just put it away and resist the urge to molest it! The right barrel does have an extremely tight pattern, it's the go to for most shots. I think I'll keep it away from the cutoff saw for now.

I Have one of these , same barrel markings on the Barrel eg Long range Nitro proofed, etc but the engraving is different as is barrel length

Mine has what looks like a Peacock engraved on the action on both sides with different type of scrolling than yours in other places, makers name the same.

Mines 30" barrels with extractors. and the original butt plate.
Great for walking up the river bed for a bunny, nice and light.
My first ever shotgun had two triggers , I used it for years so don't actually find them awkward.

Yeah, they are much lighter than the English built ones that I've handled anyway. Nice shotguns. Only reason I was looking at maybe selling was to put the cash towards a more modern shotgun, maybe a semi. Got a pump action but a semi would be handy at times...lol
