EeeBees it's the only musical part of my body, I whistle all day everyday, cause I can't bloody well sing or play the guitar, one of the things I have missed out in life, god didn't issue me a musical bone!:omg:
Much to my frustration, Maca, I was not issued with any musical ability either; I cannot even figure out a Jew's Harp!! Yes, I whistle too...my grandmother used to admonish me by saying "a whistling woman and a crowing hen, is neither use to rooster nor men"...
I've got both my grand daughters whistling 3 and 4 yrs old. Love to whistle some of Dire Straits guitar riffs they give you a work out!
I stand corrected by the mater, Maca, it is "neither God nor men"!! Excellent having your granddaughters whistle...I perservered to imitate bird calls...Dire Straits, brilliant...
Yep she's right, roosters good though,
Tuis are a good bird to have a battle with!
Yes they are: I love how they change their tune with the seasons...keeps you on your toes! Shining Cuckoo is easy! Callies are easy!
