RIP Andy Jones!

He ran both spaniels and Labradors in his time, but the last three decades that I knew him I only recall him having Labradors. His kennel name "Greymist" was respected throughout gundog circles and in later years only strengthened as he focused totally on the working strains. Andy was always a working dog man, not into show in any way that I am aware and he bred bloody awesome dogs. The last Labrador started dog I trained for a client was by one his Stud dogs and was an exceptional athlete, a step above, well above, the type of dog most people are lead to believe is a Labrador these days.

I'm not a big believer in afterlife... but if there is one I hope Andy is running dogs and breeding even better ones...
