Tx Tahr, very interesting reading
And it works.
The oldman had a GSP that used to tap him on the knee, if it did that stop and start looking.....
mine just trips me up
A mate is running a poodle on sika very very successfully.Plain old training.
I bet those shaven patches will go well in the thick stuff
I'm pretty sure poodles rank second as the most intelligent dog breeds behind border collies. They're meant to be raelly good retrievers too - just hearsay though
Like owning a plastic 7mm08:yarr:
I'm pretty sure the standard poodle gets it's stupid looking hair cut style, when they where good retrievers they shaved there legs so they didn't stay wet and get arthritis in there joints . As for the bit on it's head I'm sure that came latter when gay hair dresses started owning them ! not duck shooters !I used to own a Curley coated retriever and my mate used to call it a poodle ( wankers ) it used to piss me off ! , but pretended it didn't ! . He was a soft cock which didn't help matters .
Awesome reading cant wait for my GSP to be born
Is your unborn gsp going to be all rounder (feather and fur) or straight deer dog Mucko ?
Mate of mine has a labradoodle that is a fantastic hunter. In fact if he was as good a dog handler as he isn't he would never come home empty handed
The poodle is a water dog, originally, I think...of all the dogs that I encountered as a florist delievery person it was a standard poodle that was the most vicious, or I should write the most threatening...I left a note in the mail box with instructions on how they might get their flowers!!! He was only doing his job I guess but he was scary...
